sure it is, guys like Bill Kazmaier and a few other guys have achieved it at 320 pounds bodyweight but no fuccking way did Arnold or Mike Katz achieve it, not while the grass is green and the sky is blue.

In fact, I'd believe most of what he says before any other re Arnold....particularly with his memory, knowledge, and the fact that he is such a big fan.

I'm not standing up for the fattie by any means, but I've NEVER seen a picture of Arnold benching that much, and I have seen MANY, MANY pictures of The King over MANY, MANY years.

Exactly. This Blanco character is shining through like an idiot. What I keep saying is that it's POSSIBLE that MAYBE Arnold has benched that enormous amount of weight of nearly 500 lbs. or so. I'm just more inclined to believe the 400 lbs. bench or so range based upon what I have seen and what is actually recorded through powerlifting reports.

I am trying to speak with Mike Katz today regarding:

-did he really have a 60" chest

-In his opinion, how much the measured circumference of a bicep can/will increase via a pump (And chest, for that matter).

I think it will be fun and interesting to see what he says. I left him a voicemail...but he travels alot so, if he's away I may not have a response right away.

Since we are on it...I will also ask Mike what he saw A bench...Mike would train with him in the Summers....he was a teacher and would go to California each Summer vacation and train with Arnold.

Mike was a very strong bb....most of you know he was a multi-sport athlete and played a few years with the Jets. Mike liked to train legs...Arnold didn't, and that's one of the reasons A liked to train with Big Mike.

That...and he liked to prank on Mike alot

I have the FLEX issue and can get it from my "Arnie Vault", if need to, where they interviewed Franco and one such joke they played on Mike was where Franco was benching a weight he KNEW was no problem for him.

So the setup was that Franco was about to bench and Mike was gonna spot him, but Arnold took Mike outside and said not to worry about Franco, that he'll be OK. Upon looking from the outside of the gym, Mike seen Franco was struggling with the weight and pleading with Arnold that he was gonna go inside and help Franco, but Arnold said not to worry about Franco and that'll he'll be fine.

Mike couldn't take it anymore and ran into the gym to help Franco at which time Franco threw the weight up like it was a rag doll. Arnold walked up behind Mike and said, "See, Mike. I told you he'd be fine."

Haha...yeah...they'd always do that shit to him. Mike liked it, though....most of the time he knew it was coming. You know the ones where A would get Mike to drink some wine, and have him go to sleep to see if his chest was really as biug as it appeared.

Pollux....here's a challenge for you.

I remember a photo of Big Mike sitting between A and Franco, with his arms around their shoulders, and Mike holding his chest up high....you have that? Can we see it?
