I think trying to be huge/bulked is an immaturity thing. At least for me. When I first started years ago I just wanted to be BIG...lift heavy weights and eat anything in site! I didn't mind if I didn't have abs, I just wanted hugity!

As years go on and joints wear out, I started to focus more on training for a pump, doing cardio (in the offseason), and having abs. I guess it has to do with the response I get when I'm close to a show, which is more attention from the opposite sex...

BTW, chicks don't understand "bulk", to them it's just being fat. I heard this stupid airhead tell my training partner in class once..."well if you workout out so much, why don't you have a 6-pack?"
