EVERYBODY has the ability if wanted to be either version and some will pull off bulked version over ripped version of oneself better.others will be skinny fat,it is very tricky to find your own balance most people give up and either accept staying one way over another.the only way to go a bulk route is only to me with a competitve contest or career in mind with weight classes to jump too,only cycling and eating will allow u too get bigger and fuller over the long haul.clean u hit a point and then its just a soft build ,if clean stay lean.....

If anyone here has not seen Lee Priest in person they will change their mind when they do. He looks like some kind of mutant in person. He doesnt even look right he looks straight out odd. Most bodybuilders look creepy in real life. I almost threw up my food when I met Dave Palumbo.

I think trying to be huge/bulked is an immaturity thing.  At least for me.  When I first started years ago I just wanted to be BIG...lift heavy weights and eat anything in site!  I didn't mind if I didn't have abs, I just wanted hugity!  ;)

As years go on and joints wear out, I started to focus more on training for a pump, doing cardio (in the offseason), and having abs.  I guess it has to do with the response I get when I'm close to a show, which is more attention from the opposite sex...  ;)

BTW, chicks don't understand "bulk", to them it's just being fat.  I heard this stupid airhead tell my training partner in class once..."well if you workout out so much, why don't you have a 6-pack?"  ::)  ::)
