A bit off topic here but I know a guy who only wears True Religion levi type "trousers" that cost $800 to $1,200 a pair. Someone correct me if I got the name wrong, but that price is definitely right.

And he wears them to the best night clubs in LV without a problem.

But I try to get in with my $12 Levis and find myself back on the sidewalk within a matter of minutes. How the hell can those door guys tell the difference?

And another semi related remark .... there is a black kid who trains on occasion at the  Venice Pit who must weigh in at about 220 or thereabouts and has a relaxed waist of roughly 26 to 28 inches. And solid and ripped.

A genetic freak of nature. Looks like he would break in the middle if he leaned over too far in the wrong direction.

I have gained 17 pounds since 2 surgeries in the past month...and I am afraid to measure....certainly not my usual 33-34"

Blessed with small hips. I won't lie and say slin didn't help me make the jump from 225 to 240...  Just have to use that stuff in moderation.

Yea Must've been below 36" (ain't now for sure  ;D) ... right after I hurt my back and took 2 months off..

I know all about the back injuries bro, right after I had the cage put in my back my waist got up to 38.  Had to bust my ass to get it back in check.  Amphetamines are a hell of a drug.  Probably won't ever compete again, but I like being strong.

Yea I herniated disk (or a hernia that was there since I was 15).. just got worse and worse and eventually super bad sciatica. Was protruding about 7mm or so and now almost resorbed.

How did you end up with a "cage"? Why not a fusion?

L5 S1 was all banged up.  Was runnig full speed playing comp paintball stepped in a whole and my hips shifted crazy, blacked out and everything.  The doctors thought is was a better route.  When it's cold out, it hurts like a bastard.  Apparently it wasn't messed up enough for a fusion. ???

Sucks man. Did you have any problems beforehand? Did the disk ruptured?

I allways thought the cage thing was a last resort. I looked into it and it's actually a better option than the fusion.

Remember, that for an actual waist measurement...the tape goes around your belly button area and not your actual waist. I where size 32 jeans, but when I got taped for weighing too much (in the military), I was told that my waiste measured 35.5 inches.  ???

i miss being fat.  i felt all jolly all day.  i ate cake and ice cream every day too.  I'd go to Golden Corral every morning and eat the buffet.  Then I'd reward myself for the excellent job at eating 1500 calories on lunch, by giving myself 1500 calories for dessert.  It was like every day was my birthday.
