I must admit that these pictures of '74 form Arnold are truly amazing.

I have always questioned Arnold's self-proclaimed measurements, and with good cause in light of the measurements attested to by the few top bodybuilders over the years who have been reliably and verifiably measured (Arthur Jones measurement of Arnold's own upper arm being a prime example)... but even I must admit that some of those photos would put Arnold in the 260 lbs lean category.

A 260 lb Arnold would most probably surpass a top form Ronnie Coleman as Coleman's extra bulk would be comprised of a swollen midsection; overdeveloped glutes and ponderous thighs.

Truly, he was the king of kings...

In the part where he talks about cumming and he was wearing the yellow tank in front of the section mirror,

Those were two different parts of the movie. The cumming part, he was in a living room setting wearing a form fitted shirt (popular at the time), and in the yellow tank top he was in the gym posing. I want to say this was during the time he was telling the little blond kid how to pose...but it could be a different part of the movie but same time in the gym.
FWIW, the yellow tank shots of Arnold are my all time favorites of him. :)

Jesus, some of these pics look morphed.  :o  Dianabol was a helluva drug.  ;D Seriously though, I'm more than impressed. Arnold was truely in a class by himself.

Arnold's contract explicitly stated that the lighting had to be as ludicrous as possible and the cameras be as shoddy as they made them, so as to make him look better. If you took a floodlight and shone it directly at him, all his impressiveness would evaporate and he'd be exposed to be a 225-230 pound stick by today's standards. In the 1970s he was amazing, but he wouldn't win an amateur show today. Anyone who makes the excuse of "if he used today's drugs" is clearly reaching and acknowledges that he was too small and ill-proportioned to even be noticed in a 2008 contest.

This thread is dedicated for pics, video, and discussion of Arnold at his heaviest weight. What year was it? Competition or guestposing?

There are plenty of studio shots and guestposing footage of Arnold at a massive weight, and I welcome all footage and discussion.

Here are some pictures taken by Christine Zane (courtesy Ironage forums), of Arnold guestposing in 1971. :O

These pics are rediculous, Arnold was light years ahead of everyone else including ANY of todays pros!!

For the 1971 and 1974 guestposings, I wouldn't put 260 past him at all.

Here are some gym shots. Look at Arnie's QUADS! The Oak is no 'lightweight, baby!'

Proof that old school training builds REAL Muscle. You NEVER see any pics of Arnold looking "off season" whilst he was Mr O. ALWAYS looking huge and cut. Today's pro's are just drugged up wimps - Muscles have to be hit AT LEAST twice a week.

strange how in all the pics of Arnold throughout his career he looks so consistent, never had the big bloated face, same with Mentzer and a lot of Golden Agers...they were doing deca and dbol but  they never had bloated faces and lots of ups and downs in their weights?

This shot is just freaky...

Apparently at the 1971 Olympia, Arnold weighed just over 250lbs. The 1974 Olympia is seen as arguably Arnold's heaviest competition weight. Are we looking at 255-260lbs at his alltime max?

More from the 1974 Olympia.

Arnold always stated his highest competition weight was 235 pounds. Shows again that so many of todays stars lie about their weight, eh Dexter?!

Lets say Arnold made a comback in the 80's with the '74 physique.  Could he dethrone Haney?

Dude was 28 when he retired, iamgine if he'd carried on for another 10 years building on his 1974 form?!
