Arnold's doing a back lat spread here with NO GUT. Compare that to the back lat spreads of the pros today - they'd all have pregnant-looking guts.

Even his back was impressive. Looks like Kaz did in that kilt pic.

If anyone has a copy of Rick Wayne's book "Muscle Wars", there is an awesome picture of Arnold standing with Franco and Serge Nubret at the 1973 Mr. Olympia. They are standing in flat lighting (the pre-judging took place at a gym) and totally relaxed and he looks incredible. One of the best pictures I've ever seen of him. For those who say he never had legs, you need to see how great his legs look in this picture.

What IDIOT would claim he couldn't win an amateur show by today's standard?

You're aware that the flaccid penis size has absolutely no correlation with the fully erect one, right?

Yes John, they are standing in front of a fire place. Your words ring true and that is a great book.

So, does anyone have an idea as to when ARNOLD was at his HEAVIEST weight ever?

235lbs for his highest competition weight seems too light for many shots posted here. Especially the ones from 1971. But maybe it's the lighting... If it is true, then his offseason weight would probably be around 245-250, which is huge.

Here's some more gym shots. Check out the width of his quads and hams in the side chest!

Strictly based on bodyweight alone, I'm gonna go with his early 20's. At that time, he wasn't concerned with refinement, but sheer size.

Very true. Arn's quads are sickening in that Thalersee Lake photoshoot and throughout his early 20's, yet he improved his calves and back alot as the contests went on, so that would add a bit of weight. With the fat and water though, maybe that would have tipped the scales in his favour over the more conditioned times. Hard to tell.

Anyone with magazine articles with stats of Arnie's weight, are very welcome.

OK, GoneAway, you wanna go with "looking" the heaviest? Well, to me, his '68 IFBB Universe is where he looked the heaviest.

Shortly after the '68 IFBB Universe...
