Will God punish us in the afterlife for being non believers?
Ah dear Stella; I have been away. I have been quite busy but shall take the necessary time to answer your questions.1. No. The thought that there is no god brings me no comfort. I wouldn't care if it did or didn't. I go where the evidence points and as I have said many times prior: just because something is comforting does not make it true.2. These days I don't spend much time at all. I am extremely busy with preparations for departing this foul land. There is another reason of course; arguing with religious lunatics provides me with a great deal of amusement but is not intellectually profitable in any way, shape or form. I would rather do something more productive. 3. Why I changed my name? For the sake of consistency. My former name was a reference to my traps which are puny indeed compared to the likes of many of getbig's giants. Latin Deus + Latin cidere= Deicide or the slaying of a god; in that sense I humorously seek to embody that abstraction.4. No. As with all humans I have the capacity for wonder and amazement and I often feel it (at the feats of bravery of Batman for example) yet I realise it is fictional. I may have mentioned this before but there was a time when I wholeheartedly believed in the silliness of astrology; that and I am a D&D geek.
