If he took up competitive bodybuilding when he was young he'd do very well - but he had a more succesful career than anyone can with bodybuilding.  At his prime he was huge for a natural who does not even bodybuild.  Put him on a bodybuilding routine with drugs and he'd be a force to be reckoned with in bodybuilding, just as he was in boxing.
