alright so what else can you cook in these things?
I finally got a rice cooker.how do I use it?1 cup dry rice + how much water, for how long? Also how long can you keep it on 'warm' without it getting mushy or stale? thanks!
was boiling rice too inconvenient? plus, doesn't the thing have instructions?
rice cookers work better, I don't know why.
put twice the water depth of the rice on high. The two cups water to one of rice isn't quite the same, put twice the depth of the rice. perfect... That's the way the chinese do it and it comes out just right.
As onlyme has said, measurement is unnecessary. You can just eyeball it. 2cm-an inch above the rice level is fine. There is no way anybody who has a rice cooker would not admit that it is much easier than cooking it in a pot.
I do believe you have used the incorrect usage of the word "your" under your avatar.Hope this helps.
