I can't respond to your question because I am not familiar with the facts and circumstances regarding any of those guys.

I simply state that the rules and regulations should be adhered to when and if any infractions are officially presented to the governing body.

"Officially" in my viewpoint means that a complaint must be lodged under a legal signature - signed, sealed, and delivered.

Trey, apparently someone is paying attention to this subject matter - 3 pages, 53 replies, 697 views and interesting responses from both sides of the equation.

But I bet if you do start a SEX topic, those numbers would be lots higher and more interesting, but I think most of us are  pretty knowledgeable about the pros and the amateurs within the sexual context and don't have to seek legal consul to clarify that issue .

the solution is simple:  stop making idle threats.   there would be no problem if the people not officially speaking for the NPC would realize that many top tier bodybuilders have competed in pro contests in other leagues while also competing in the NPC without repercussion, which makes it pretty difficult to defend in a court of law any sanctions they would decide to impose on anyone entering this contest.

and when will the people in the NPC learn that Public Displays of Bullying on the internet always backfires ?  B&A couldn't buy this kind of publicity.

all I've done is provide evidence that no one has been able to disprove:   many people have competed in pro contests and as an amateurs in the NPC at the same time without repercussion.   all you or anyone else has to do is provide evidence that one person has been suspended, disqualified, or otherwise not allowed to compete in the NPC because of their amateur status in say the last 10 years.

I believe the NPC enforces rules only when it suits them.

I believe the terms professional and amateur have lost all meaning.  How can you be considered an amateur when you have an endorsement contract?

I believe that the NPC had ample opportunity to sanction Stan McQuay, Dave Goodin, Shiloe Steinmetz, Dietrich Horsey, and dozens of others (http://musclememory.com/proAm.php), but chose not to do so.  Therefore doing so now for athletes in the B&A contest would not stand up in a court of law.

I believe that the NPC knows this and would quickly back down if called on their bluff.

And I believe that it is important for athletes to know this.

And just for fun...I believe no one has ever lost their placing at Team Universe for failing a drug test.


And finally, I believe that Chick abuses his moderator privileges  by deleting posts he doesn't like.

all I have are contest sheets showing athlete after athlete competing in the NPC while also competing for prize money in other organizations.

all you have is "people have been sanctioned, but we can't tell you who or when"

Skip LaCour competed in Musclemania in 1994, but never as a pro.   I have no info on him competing in any pro contests.

If you're a NPC amateur, you cannot compete for prize monies, etc.

NPC, bring every year, amateur that cannot compete for prize money, in Amateur Arnold Classics, IFBB World Championships etc to compete with amateurs that compete in their country for prize money

out of the USA there are dozens of contest like Las Vegas Classics open to IFBB amateur and with prize money

I've answered it.  I don't need to be privy to the secret workings of the NPC.   It is not up to me to know what actions have been taken.  I've provided evidence that many athletes have competed without repercussion.  It is up to who ever is making the counter argument to provide evidence that athletes have.   The only thing you have said is "trust us, they have.  but we can't tell you who or when."
