I like that one. I do my cardio at the Gold's in the AM at Rockville town center, close to office.I wish there were some more hardcore gyms in the area, but with my travel, I guess Gold's is the best choice...
if you are going to hold a show in DMV it has to be in VA. If you want a good gym you need to come to my gym in manassas(the city of manassas does suck ass) but my gym is awesome, Olympus Gym. There is a local natty show in woodbrdige(hoodbridge) in july

I heard the clarendon golds is really good, i remember in one of the battle for the olympias kamali was complaining that golds in tyson does like bbers? Thanks for the good things you said about my gym. We just got new owners, they are awesome, the gym just went 24 hours, they put in a MMA cage. And they going to replace most of the hammmer strength and nautilus equipmentIt is the funny the old owner has a told asshole, John Andrews, he was a bbers too, he won the overall Bodyrock in 2003 and 1997. I am glad he sold the gym

I think it's pretty good. Granted, I only do AM cardio, but the have plenty of free weights and Hammer Strength and other machines. Not sure about how heavy the dumbbells go, though.
There is suppose to be a new gym opening up off of Seven Locks Road (across the street from the Detention Center)
I'm not too familiar with the area. My office is here, so I train at this Gold's b/c it's only 5 min from my office. I love in Alexandria, so I am still learning the area!
capital ws the definition of a hardcore gym complete with its own wandering pitbulls! hamburger used to train there....he prolly is at the 24 hr worlds in largo...but from what i hear the place is more ghetto then golds in greenbelt..
HAHAHAHA....LMAO...The Golds' in greenbelt is the Wold's Ghettoest Gym. I hated this Gym and still hate it to this day. a few years ago, Kevin Levrone would stop by, I have no idea who Kevin knew there back then. I heard Chris webber used to own that Gym. I just wished they would find a better location in greenbelt for this Gym other than this 3rd rate Shopping mall. Hamburger must be doing well with "Yonnex nutrition"
i train between the golds in greenbelt and the one in rockville.....when ever i show up at his show i call him hamburger ..he hates it..lol
I'd rather go to a Ghetto one, at least you have equipment freed up, and a certain atmosphere. At Booghie ones, every body stands around the equipment and talks about their 401(K) plans, then hop into their cars and say, "What a workout tonight"

Washington D.C is not really a bodybuilding city. Bodyrock couldn't even make decent profit, imagine how poor a Pro show would score
