Yep, Moose, I am serious about posing to The Three Stooges song. He did it more than once and it went over real well. You should try it at your next contest! I recommend it highly  but don't exceed the limit and do any of the Stooges pokes, punches, and slaps in the direction of the officials who make the ultimate decisions. Unless they all resemble "Curly" of course.

And I do recommend the Punchbowl haircut to attract the ladies!

As of this moment he is considering a "Who's on First?" routine.

He's great at this kind of stuff. He is the kind of competitor who is up there for the fun of it and never complains no matter how he places.

Well if you're going to go that route, how about an Abbott and Costello meet Palumbo routine. They met Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein...why not Dave Palumbo?

Thanks, Chem! I'll recommend it but didn't Bud and Lou already meet Hercules?

If so, it might be kind of redundant.

I am like that too. I never complain about where I place...doin't really care...do it for myself.

About the punchbowl hair cut to attract the ladies...since I have not yet attracted the lady I want...I will skip that!

No, I think it was the Three Stooges that met Hercules in a 1962 Feature film. They were all very old by then. And beside, with all the GH, Palumbo's closer to Frankenstein than Hercules. I guess I'd better come up with some funnier stuff, Stunt. Boy, this is a tough crowd...NYuk,Nyuk,Nyuk (Curly Laugh)

Chem, I looked up the Three Stooges meeting Herc on IMDB and couldn't find that they ever did.

No need to come up with some "funnier stuff". I just don't recognize the humor when any one individual tries to ridicule another behind the safety of the internet or while driving by in a fast moving car as they used to do when I was a lot younger.  I come from a different time when that was a coward's way out.

No personal offense, Chem, I just don't see the humor in ridiculing anyone; but once in a while I tend to laugh when the offender gets a shot in the nose by the offendee or ends up running scared with shit stains in his pants.

That's the only sick humor that I tend to have.

I hope!

Yea, Moose! The original Stooges were real old farts. My brother escorted all three of them around town when they were on a radio station tour, but he said that they were only funny in front of a camera and never did a Nyuk, Nyuk or a Poke In the Eye thing.

Sorry to say that I never did meet any of them. Spent an hour or so with Bob Hope though while he told me about "Have Tux, Will Travel" and saw him many times while overseas. I can even out-claim Keith in the Who-I-Met department. Never been shy about shaking hands and going out of my way to meet good people.

Wow...Bob Hope! All of the Stooges are dead, I presume? Guess they got tired of always being 'on'.

I also heard that there was quite the acrimony between Abbott and Costello...?

Here's the link for the film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056579/
Also, my post about the Three Stooge posing routine wasn't about ridiculing anyone, it was just my creative interpretation of what I would imagine a real Three Stooge Posing Routine to be like. Dave Palumbo has appeared on National TV, dressed up in green makeup and is a symbol of the Growth Hormone/Insulin era, that some purists of the sport would consider to be Monstrous, thus someone for Abbott and Costello to Meet. But you're right, from all accounts of those who know him, Dave is supposed to be a pretty nice guy. So Dave, if you're reading this, I apologize. It was all meant in fun. Stunt..you've made me think twice about hurling another internet insult. This board kind of brings it out in you.

Yea, Chem, I guess I have to agree with Moose here! Just be yourself - good guy or bad guy or some guy in between.

I find it funny that some of the younger posters here always try to knowingly  present themselves as idiots when in fact they more than likely have high I.Q.'s.

My bro (the smart side of the family Head-Shrink who plays Friday night Poker with the most seriously infringed mental midgets I've ever had the honor to meet ) reads some of this stuff and claims that it would be an interesting study and research document for some kind of psychiatric "Doctorate"), while all the "crazy guys" (whom my brother claims have higher IQ's than I got) say that everyone on here who appears overly critical is just admiting "jealousy" in his own individual style.

Maybe these "crazy" guys ain't so crazy afterall. (I never realized that you could be "crazy" while sill possessing a high IQ.)

Once while sitting in on one of their Poker games, one of the players broke up a full house to shoot for a 4 of a kind. I stupidly yelled out, "Are you fu...ing crazy?!!" And everyone at that table cried out in unison, "Define "crazy|"!"

I guess you'd have to be there to see the humor.
