moosejay ! i know this, for i am wise !  ;D   to play hard to get, act cocky, jokingly insult women, all the while smell/look good...    i know the game !    ;D

You are ahead of your years...

However!.....

When you truly reach where I am telling you you can reach, you will never have to:

Play
Act
Insult

You will just

be

you will see, my protege... ;D

Good idea if you want to waste money, and not teach that kid responsibility.

Agreed..

Agreed.. Gotta be one of the dumbest ideas I've seen in a long time, but then again it's from moosejay - a brain dead attention whore.

oooohhhh.....its "Stormshadow"....quick...run for cover everyone...its the mysterious one.... ;)

Actually...I think its a very cool idea, much better as a birthday present than the same ole s--- everyone gets/gives (like you are likely used to...sorry for you, really)...

I like everyone to be happy...and the kid is really energized about it.

Life is all about a collection of interesting and challenging experiences...and this will help this kid get some

I think this a great idea Moosejay! here are a couple ideas though since you don't seem to mind spending a little money on this kid.

Offer him a bonus at the end of the 4 months if he does infact complete the whole thing and reach his goal. You said he would get 1k a month at the end of the month, maybe add in another 1k at the end of the whole 4month deal if he sees the whole thing through...just a thought.

Also, what about when the 4month period is over? It would be nice if he continued to train and eat right. maybe he'll be one of the lucky ones and get hooked all by himself (in a healthy way) but most don't. Of course I understand that even with some sort of financial incentive he may not "get hooked" but it couldn't hurt. BTW, this is where the trolls come in and say "only an idiot would want to get hooked on training" lol!

Supplements that are worth while IMO:
A good isolate powder
Fish oil
Corral calcium
A good fiber supplement
...and Juice Plus+
other then that, there really isn't a need for anything else, especially at his age.

BTW, I'd like to hear how all this pans out by the end of the summer.

My oldest daughter moved in with me in Hawaii right after he graduated.  She was there literally one day.  Went out to Hawaii Kai and applied for a job renting out Jet Ski's and parasailing.  She had never done either one.  The lady called her the same day and hired her.  She worked there for about 2 years.  Became unreal on the jet ski and was making $200 a day just in tips from the Japanese.  She was also hired to operate the jet ski for a music video shot with the #1 rock group in Japan.  They paid her $750 for 3 hours work.  She learned how to jet ski, para sail, scuba dive and water ski all while getting paid, getting very dark, getting her captain's license and meeting her future husband.  Not bad for a girl not eve 20 yet.  She is now 24 has her own clothing company and has three kids.  God what happened!

your strive for relevance is admirable, especially when you pull out hip internet words like 'noob'. you should use it as a license place for your big shiny red midlifecrisismobile.

You'd be very well served to get him a summer internship in a field where he'll be doing his bachelors degree.

Even 4 hours a day volunteering at a law firm or hospital or vet or contractor will give his resume a leg up and teach him the ropes.

IMHO, the idea is awesome, but will lead to complacency and possibly trouble.  At 18, with plenty of money, time and pool time to abuse, chances are he'll be raw-dogging some unworthy whore in your pool while you're at work and will make you a grandpa before you know it.

LMAO..."raw-dogging"

I bought my nephew a Wii, didn't see the point in making a thread about it in the G and O though.
