im not really interested much in who wins anymore. just interested in seeing the physiques on stage and judging them for myself. what those judges think hardly ever is right on with what i think so its pointless to go by that

Phil isnt stupid...he knows that there is politics involved...Only Vic has (or had) a chance to beat Jay, and for this he would have to get like 20% BETTER than jay to win...(wich its not impossible)

Vic will never ever ever ever ever ever be Mr. Olympia. He is a convicted felon and alleged federal informant. If he came in 50% better than Jay and Jay didn't even bother dieting for the show he will STILL lose to him.

 The Mr. Olympia is a competition for 2nd place on.

No matter how good Vic's leg looks it will always be the reason the judges put him 2nd even though Jay is missing a quad, bicep, and a detailed back.

I agree with King when he said Jay was deserving in 2006 but not in 2007.  :-X  In 2006, I would have had no problem with Ronnie taking it, but props to Jay because I definitely did not lose sleep over him taking it either.  But in 2007, that is another story.  I would have had Victor and Dennis ahead of Jay.  1st or even 2nd place that year would have not sat well with me.  Third place I could accept, and even Jay knew he was off, explaining to the crowd he made some adjustments before the night show.  If Jay comes in at his best, he can win.  If not, we shall see, although I imagine the powers that be will want him to win anyway.

there may be some merit to what he's saying though.

Remember, Weider's title goes to the man who best eptiomizes the sport.  Jay is that man.  jay might be off, come show day, but if you look at the sum of 365 days per year, Jay is the best bodybuilder and the best representative of the sport.  The Arnold and the keystone and every other title can go to the best man onstage.  The award is called "Joe Weider's Mr Olympia" and it's going to a man who makes the sport look good, every time, IMHO.

So basically everyone here is agreeing that the Mr Olympia is fixed and that's okay with all of you, including the ones who pay thousands of dollars to go to Vegas to watch the Cutler-crowning ritual?

How about spending your money on a nice vacation to Hawaii or the Caribbean and getting the results by Musclephone?

maybe that they should appoint a rep of some kind, a person to voice said frustration to the officials.?
