One of the interesting phenomena on getbig is that of members of minority groups identifying with the "truths" spoken by those who vilify minority groups. 

I don't know what to think of it. Sometimes its like the minority members are trying to show that they're above it all/have transcended their roots.  It might just be identifying with the "oppressor"... who knows?

I guess what I meant CQ, is that is who he would aim to shake up, maybe not everyone, but the vast majority. There are a few "nice" people on here that don't fall into sterotypes with their egos/attitude......you are one of them. Woten has the ability to find the people that he knew would get riled up and then he would flood them with statistics and "facts" that were difficult to dispute, unless the other person did their homework. Most people would fall right into the name calling, unable to answer him with a coherent rebuttal, this would often cause him to go into some of the funniest insults I have read on here.

The evilest people here operate more via pm. Thing being some, like me, don't say anything. I've had multiple threats of violence, and other highly perturbing things sent me. If I ever get in a drunken stupor, lose inhibitions and post, I could update this thread quite effectively

Duchaine probably belongs on some list for two reasons.  There was a virulence to some of his posts which probably stemmed from sort of mental issue.  A lot of posters mistook this virulence for some kind of "alpha" maleness and tried to join his "pack"  You saw the same desire to join the pack with SF's followers.

And the gay shit Duchaine posted towards the end was equally disturbing.  Another person who suffers, on a smaller scale, from this urge to gross people out is onlyme.  Don't know what this stems from.  

Duchaine's "facts" all came from fringe sources, so that was neither here nor there.

Obviously I pass on a lot of comments. if someone said "what x did was fucked" I probably wouldn't respond with "but he's always been cool with me."  If x had been cool with me, I probably wouldn't say anything at all.  I hope I wouldn't say anything that tried to excuse could be interpreted as excusing fucked up behavior.
