The gym is the only place a tank top is acceptable. I sweat my ass off ten times more when I wear a t-shirt. As far as any where else you're just gonna look like a tool no matter if you're solid and cut 140 lbs or 240 lbs. I'm all about em at the gym!
Like I said, not MY THING. But, I can see how at a gym, you could use one. It's just funny some of the tools that think they "pull it off" (especially wife beaters), that I question. Or in the winter, when it's 15 degrees and and shit, and these fuckers think they are HUGE and cool in their tanks.
It's like this.....USUALLY, the strongest guys in the gym, are the coolest and not the kind to brag. To some degree, the biggest and best physiques stay covered up, as they're not looking for attention. It's the tools that always crave it. Example; this kid is probably 140, and weak. But, when he's in there, you'd think he was lifting Fire Trucks, or being anally raped from the screams and roars he lets out.
Then there are always the "upper bodybuilders" who always wear the tanks and for some reason, shorts. Yet, all they train are their arms and chest, but think they look fucking great......
