I don't think any one person ran the pros off, I think it is the gang mentality on the G&O to bash in groups that did it.

If we can get the pros and up and comers on here posting again, this board will be a safe haven for anyone and everyone to post in.

Pros weren't scared off, they just did not feel like dealing with the twits.

Before there were limited choices where to post, and more and more boards emerged so made it harder for us to be 'competitive'. MD has about 20 pros posting, Sioux's [new!] board has about 25 female pros posting I guess  - um, we have like Chick left [who is great no diss] but years back we had truckloads, male and female.

Never sure why everyone thought it was so great to have some ass go on and on with some boring flames, instead of pros who would give us some better posts - like the time ppl were wondering did the german pro vomit onstage lol, a pro roared in and confirmed it and gave us a step by step of how it went down lol.

Pros are pretty much gone, as are many competitors, and I doubt they will be back honestly.

A few guys made this board devoid of pros - and while I am at it - women. I feel quite conspicuous posting on the G&O most days lately, as hardly any women left there. Could have had 20 pros and 50 more women, but instead we got like 5/6 guys flaming relentlessly.

Oh well, it's done - and like I said - unlikely to be fixable.

They are not private like many. It is not abstract. Speaking as a chick, the day I woke up and saw my husband having a "good laugh" on the internet while others posted my pic and called me a slut and every other name in the book - well he would not have a good night thats for sure.

Contrary to popular belief, most don't expect their asses kissed, can totally take a joke, just a reasonable level of human behaviour.

Facts are facts, they are gone, and now we have guys posting pics of male porn instead. No biggie, but it is what it is.

One possible idea is to give each pro his/her own Q&A thread that is stickied.  Some can't/won't post here because of contractual stuff with MD, but I'm sure others would, like Luke Wood.  Disgusted aka Jim could also have his own Q&A thread.
