Wrong. http://www.musclememory.com/show.php?c=Universe+-+WPF&y=1989

1989 Universe - WPF, Light-HeavyWeight, 1st

Bashing on Milos is like climbing up the stairs of Philly's Museum of Art just to spit on Rocky's statue.

So Alex, are you saying if I have MY Mr. Universe show with three weight classes, and three people enter each class and then win- they are IFBB Pros (See how many people were in the WPF "Universe" Hvywt, Lgtwt and Mdlwt-1 person each class-Ohhoo, tough show!)????????????????????

The WPF was a one time joke-they are NOT a recognized organization and winning that shit DOES NOT entitle ANYONE to be an IFBB pro.

Tell me, does the NABBA Universe get IFBB Pros status ???  NO.

NABAA is 100 times better than that WPF bullshit.

BTW-how can someone WIN a "Mr. Universe" show and then a month later take 5th place in their weight class at the Cal    ??????

The IFBB nly lets in NCP and affiliated winners from the amatuer ranks.

That is why Jeff King, Tim Belknap, Glenn Kneer and many others never got pro cards.....

Don't get me wrong-Milos Sarcev turned out to be an excellent Pro BBer.

But to set facts straight-when he turned Pro in 1990 there were a number of better BBers at Gold's Gym San Diego alone. Plus when he turned pro Milos's arms were only 17.5 inches! If he had to come up thru the ranks like 99% of the rest did he would not have made it to the top-he literally by-passed 90% of the Pro qualifying competitions.

Milos is outspoken and has his own opinion. I am interested to see if Milos did talk to Bob Chick regarding his IFBB Pro Card?

Jeff King never got a pro card?  Damn.  He had a neck even bigger than Chad Mower's.

 ;D

Jeff King could have been Mr. Olympia, or in the top 3 easily.

Tim Belknap was "GIFTED" a pro card eventually, after failing to win the Universe/Worlds on his first attempt, and then failing to qualify for the Universe/Worlds the following 2 years after his first failure.

But, Belknap did not earn it.

I spoke to Milos earlier in the year (at the Ironman)...he knows what is required if he were to want back in the IFBB. I've had not heard from him since that time....

Bob, really - I don't remember you telling me solution for "what's required"...

Is it AGAIN same "let's play the game - don't ask don't tell" typicality - where I have to apologize to Paul Chua...or else...

With your help (as I was told) I can apologize without apologizing - "you know what I mean" type of game I was told to play...

You were going to help me with constructing the letter of apology - without really apologizing.... and I must tell you I already did that back than...before I was actually suspended - but it wasn't good enough... ::)

Year and a half ago I sent exactly that: letter of apology without directly apologizing to Mr. "I publicly admit that I was offered crazy amount of money to fix the scores time after time again - pretty much in every competition - but even in MANY occasions when my life was threatened - I refused to take the bribery! My ethics would absolutely not allow me to do such a dishonorable thing..."

My letter was so "good" - I was issued immediate suspension...

So Bob - as you know many great bodybuilding champions have returned on the IFBB pro stage...even Olympia stage...
What's more - example of Juliette Bergman is the best one...After 17 years of "retirement" she came back to WIN Ms. Olympia title...

Return of Vince Taylor at age of 50 and Francis Benfato (49) witnessed by me last year in Australia only confirmed what I already knew: once a bodybuilding competitor - always bodybuilding competitor...Both Vince and Francis were at their ALL TIME BEST!!!

Same goes for Gary Strydom and God knows how many more of our colleagues.

Persistence is a synonym of bodybuilder/competitor...and who knows that better than you (In reference of your 14 years PRO CARD attempts...I bet you if you didn't win that USA Championships - you would continue...even to this day - if you had to...).

So, I am certainly NOT RETIRED - absolutely not...
I really wanted to surprise everyone and enter 2006 Grand Prix of Romania...and unfortunately - I didn't...but than I was interested to compete at 2007 Arnold...You should know some details...as bodybuilding.com owner at the time called me personally with business proposal (taping my comeback...) with exception that first I just have to do little formality..."just apologize to Paul and we are on the way..."

Ultimately - I had Jim Lorimer himself - calling me and letting me know how excited he is to invite me back...but there is ONE THING I have to do first...I completely understand that Jim could not invite me if I am suspended - and I very much appreciated his sincere effort - but my apology letter just wasn't good enough...

I am very interested to say the least - how will you manage to overcome "what's required"...

I didn't contact you until now - as I simply didn't think that you could really help me with it...But as you are letting me and everyone else know - I can't wait to start...

What do you need from me?

Apology of some kind?

OK, I apologize to Paul I came and witnessed his "operation". I should have stayed here in California. My sincere apologies Mr. Paul."

Good enough?

Hypothetical question:

If Clifton Torres or that old guy that does one Pro show every year (you know the guy with the toupe) somehow had their Pro Cards revoked, could they get it back?

And come on, don't bullshit me. 8)

Pro cards are not revoked, they are suspended.

I remember exactly where and when the conversation took place, outside in the lobby area immediately following the show....we talked briefly, You told me you had no intention of apologizing....ever. I told you how it could be handled....and to contact me if you needed my assistance in the matter. To this date, I havent heard from you. What part of that isn't correct?

You have my number, you have my email...if you truly wish to be reinstated, then I would suggest contacting me to let me know...

I'm not interested in the drama of the board, or people that have nothing to do with the situation....

Let me know...
