I spoke to Milos earlier in the year (at the Ironman)...he knows what is required if he were to want back in the IFBB. I've had not heard from him since that time....
Bob, really - I don't remember you telling me solution for "what's required"...
Is it AGAIN same "let's play the game - don't ask don't tell" typicality - where I have to apologize to Paul Chua...or else...
With your help (as I was told) I can apologize without apologizing - "you know what I mean" type of game I was told to play...
You were going to help me with constructing the letter of apology - without really apologizing.... and I must tell you I already did that back than...before I was actually suspended - but it wasn't good enough... Roll Eyes
Year and a half ago I sent exactly that: letter of apology without directly apologizing to Mr. "I publicly admit that I was offered crazy amount of money to fix the scores time after time again - pretty much in every competition - but even in MANY occasions when my life was threatened - I refused to take the bribery! My ethics would absolutely not allow me to do such a dishonorable thing..."
My letter was so "good" - I was issued immediate suspension...
So Bob - as you know many great bodybuilding champions have returned on the IFBB pro stage...even Olympia stage...
What's more - example of Juliette Bergman is the best one...After 17 years of "retirement" she came back to WIN Ms. Olympia title...
Return of Vince Taylor at age of 50 and Francis Benfato (49) witnessed by me last year in Australia only confirmed what I already knew: once a bodybuilding competitor - always bodybuilding competitor...Both Vince and Francis were at their ALL TIME BEST!!!
Same goes for Gary Strydom and God knows how many more of our colleagues.
Persistence is a synonym of bodybuilder/competitor...and who knows that better than you (In reference of your 14 years PRO CARD attempts...I bet you if you didn't win that USA Championships - you would continue...even to this day - if you had to...).
So, I am certainly NOT RETIRED - absolutely not...
I really wanted to surprise everyone and enter 2006 Grand Prix of Romania...and unfortunately - I didn't...but than I was interested to compete at 2007 Arnold...You should know some details...as bodybuilding.com owner at the time called me personally with business proposal (taping my comeback...) with exception that first I just have to do little formality..."just apologize to Paul and we are on the way..."
Ultimately - I had Jim Lorimer himself - calling me and letting me know how excited he is to invite me back...but there is ONE THING I have to do first...I completely understand that Jim could not invite me if I am suspended - and I very much appreciated his sincere effort - but my apology letter just wasn't good enough...
I am very interested to say the least - how will you manage to overcome "what's required"...
I didn't contact you until now - as I simply didn't think that you could really help me with it...But as you are letting me and everyone else know - I can't wait to start...
What do you need from me?
Apology of some kind?
OK, I apologize to Paul I came and witnessed his "operation". I should have stayed here in California. My sincere apologies Mr. Paul."
Good enough?
