Gayer than bringing up a topic that was discussed Tuesday night at the bar and thought this may fill up a few pages here (just trying to catch the truce thread)...

Ok gayer than the subject-

A married woman with children ok/happy/just fine in her relationship and a married guy with children (probably not planning on leaving his wife...he's just a guy) have an affair...

One, what constitutes an "affair" (romance? sex? positive attention?)

Two, what is the woman there for if she's just "fine" in her life?

Three, what exactly does the guy want?

One = any of which you mention can describe an affair

if someone's attention is swayed in a way that causes them to pay as much attention to a person other than their "spouse" or when they are "wanting" attention from that other person

Two = being "just fine " doesn't mean happy and fulfilled

Three = basically the guy wants to get off ( somehow ).. no matter what

if it ain't with "her" it'll be with someone else

oh yeah

Gayer than also agreeing with you (and Stella) but always having to be careful what i say at work...don't want to piss off the drunk folk...

Gayer than asking the bar folk WHY would a girl go there even though things are just ok and definatley understanding the male part? I just think girls want CONSTANT attention and if hubby's not giving it (which would be normal behavior when providing and caring for a family) they really think outside help is positive.

Gayer than I have this girlfriend and we both mutually like each other but she's got a boyfriend. We've never made moves on one another but sometimes she spends more time with me talking, studying and hanging out than she does with her bf. I would not call this an affair.
