Why would you want to "thicken" your abs? You want your waist to look even bigger?

Thickening the lower abs will make your waist appear larger from certain angles. Most notably in side poses. Don't waist your time.
thanks guys ill give all those suggestions a shot and see which one works best for me
You should also try hanging leg raises....
you know ive done those in the past and they dont seem to really thicken them at all. i can feel a burn where i want it to burn; but no development i want to make the lower abs and the "v" shape at the belt line more defined
Have you tried them weightened?For example, if its easy for you, grab a dumbell and hold it with your feet you know and then do the raises....
