17.5 at 6'3" 265 LOL i dont care if its true or not but at that body weight and height you should have at least 19 inch arms.
I agree. This is why I train arms separately from back now to bring them up. They used to be even smaller. My arms are very long and seem to respond better to less volume/heavier weights than I used to train with and now I am seeing better results. I should keep dropping fat until im about 225-230 and my arms will look better in proportion to my upper body.
Look at my pic in comparison to magoo. I am only an inch taller than him but if you look at the pics my arms are much longer than his. Longer limbs are more difficult to train since work = force x distance....and a guy with arms 4-5 inches longer has to move the weight much further in presses and pulls, this makes parabolic exercises like curls harder too. Leverage concepts...if the lever is longer the weight at the end of the lever means more force required at the fulcrum or pivot point to counteract the weight. I've recently started to ignore the magazine, forum, etc cut and dried workout formats and start keeping track of what I do in the gym and see what works for me and the way I lift. I'm finding out that I get better gains from less reps and heavier weights, even on legs...and the mirror is truth. I've made measurable gains in the last 8 weeks just from making minor dietary changes and changing rest between sets.
All joking and flaming aside, it cannot be denied that I am making progress. After all this is Getbig, not staybig, or mouthbig, although they seem to go hand in hand here.
