No one has said this yet, but it's worth considering...
One of the biggest problems with megadosing is coming off the gear cold turkey (as Jacobs was forced to do with his probation testing). Any endocrinologist will tell you that sudden, severe drops in test levels are strongly linked with suicidal depression and psychotic-break type behaviour.
For some reason bodybuilders don't consider this as a side effect... yet all the megadosing (1,000+ mg per week) bodybuilders I know have a history of anti-depressant use.

in the interview im pretty sure David mentioned that he felt down after he juiced, he understood why bodybuilders got depressed after a cycle so it might be worth considering |

...eh, it's a well established medical fact that test suppression can play a significant role in triggering depression. If you don't believe this, Google the phrases: "andropause", "viropause" and "post-natal depression" or have a candid chat with a few competitive steroid using bodybuilders... the post-test blues are very, very real. A lot of pharmaceutical researchers are now coming around to thinking that 90's wonder drug Prozac has no intrinsic anti-depression activity at all... supposedly the mood boost comes solely from Prozac's testosterone boosting ability. Similarly, test has been shown to simply eradicate certain supposedly psychological conditions... such as anorexia (under certain circumstances) and so-called fatigue/exhaustion depression. Either way, Amanda was most likely was an innocent bystander. She won't be the first, or the last, young woman to get mixed up with a possessive, psychotic loser.
The reality is that most Steroid dealers are often involved in the same World of crime and violence as any illegal drug dealers. In this case, he was involved with people with money, and he was in the verge of bringing some of these people down. A professional hit is not totally out of the question.
From what I've read, Amanda was smart, beautiful, talented young woman with a drive to be her best.
I am sure she will be missed by many.

guys.. daves arrest was almost two years ago.. if he did come off gear "cold turkey" he did it quiter a while back.. not recently.. and yes, dave was still looking very jacked as of recently.. i doubt he was off..
