Ketchup - bad?

What do you think?

i have ketchup in about 3 of my daily meals...

is it fattening? because it has some sugar...

just like most condiments, it's base ingredient is high fructose corn syrup....if you go to the health section at your
grocery store you can get some that is without the syrup...more expensive but....

high fructose corn syrup is as bad, if not worse, a food to consume that trans fats.. IMO

Ketchup has waaaaaaaayyyyy too much sugars in it. worse than drinking sodas all day.

It's bad, but not that bad.

2 Tbsp of Heinz Ketchup = 8 grams of sugar...

I'd say eating some ketcup with your meal is a HELL of a lot BETTER than drinking a soda with it...

fructose is natures devil when it comes to body composition..

Did you know that the ketchup at McDonalds says Heinz (or whatever brand), but it is McDonalds own secret recipe made specially for them ~ just like EVERYTHING else they have.

No significance in that statement.  Just thought I'd tell ya  :D

You can even buy McDonald's ketchup in the supermarket here in germany.  ;D ;D

Ahhhhggghh . . .  a little Ketchup is not going to kill you.  Live a little.  And, in fact, the lycopene may just help you avoid prostate cancer.
