Last week, Fox News’s E.D. Hill called a fist pound between Barack and Michelle Obama a “terrorist fist jab.” Following Hill’s remark, Media Matters launched a petition calling on Hill to apologize. TVNewser is reporting that Fox News has canceled America’s Pulse, the nightly news show anchored by Hill: “America’s Pulse anchored by E.D. Hill goes away, but Hill stays with the network in a capacity to be determined.” The cancellation comes just four days after Hill’s “terrorist fist jab” remark, although the network would not give the reason for its actions. Hill apologized for her remarks on her show today. Watch it:

I saw that. Something like a 10,000 viewer bump on MSNBC, every time OReilly mentions them.

At some point, it has to stop being about his ego, and start being about running a business (seeing as they have admitted they are a right wing news org now).

2 years ago, OReilly admitted his job was to "even the playing field". He talked about how FOX is fair and balanced, by being the right to NBC's left.

Scott McClellan admitted that FOX would repeat the WH talking points daily.

I think Fox News is just as corrupt as ever.

They've just decided to switch who they (Murdoch) is betting on.

There is absolutely no moral or integrity in that board room.

Some people may think it's cool that one person can have so much influence in how people thinks and votes.

Have to give them some credit for dealing swiftly with the issue.
Some elements of Fox biased as far as the view of the host, but so are some of the other media stations and print media is far worse.

Its funny, I hate MSNBC but don't discount them as a news source, yet u lib douchbags hate Fox and completely discount them. They kicked everybodies ass last year. Why don't we wait until the overall numbers come out for 2008 before u media guru's ::)make such bold predictions.

because they'd like access to cover the election, nomination, etc.

Already, no dem candidate (except desperate hilary at last minute) will go on FOX news, and they refused to debate for them.

Calling obama a terror fist bump, could very well get them excluded from nomination and other events. Those press passes aren't automatic. There are a lot of moderates who are disgusted by things like calling obama's action with wife a 'terrorist fist bump' - it's entirely without merit.

I'm saying who is the most watched. Also if u think there are Fox producers and CNN/MSNBC producers ur wrong. These people bounce between networks..they follow better jobs and the cash. I've had 1 boss and 1 other close friend work for Fox as part of the training with Industry program we do. My boss worked for them during the 2003 invasion. I've worked with them on stories as well as CNN and NBC. I've had no problem with bias or bullshit. Some of their reporters suck, but thats an individul thing.

Last night during MSNBC's Potomac Primary coverage, Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann were discussing Barack Obama's speech. Matthews — who, in the past, has both cried over an Obama speech and compared him to Jesus — described exactly what happens to him when Obama speaks:

I have to tell you, you know, it's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often.
