I also completely disagree with her on education. In the last 15-20yrs of pouring more $ into failing public schools, we have not improved the quality of schools, education or graduation rate in many inner city schools. The problem lies much deeper than just funding. Taking more 'piece of pie' means throwing more public $ at broken schools without addressing the deeper issues of ususually strong teachers unions, tenures, poor parental involvement, safety from really dangerous kids and drug dealers that are not moved out of schools, a general apathy about education in certain areas, and poor community supports & role models.
