Once again though, this video speaks volumes of her attitude towards white americans "Americans don't aim for much"

Hmmm, not sure where she thinks people don't aim for the top, when she herself said on The View "I could have never told my story if I had not been an American"

Kind of egocentric...maybe thats what rubs me the wrong way about her.  Gives me the impression that she believes she knows whats best for everyone, even if its not what this country was based on.  One can argue that some athletes and CEOs/COOs make far too much $...I agree (espec. when a particular CEO is making more $ and their company is loosing $) but that is less than 1% of the population.  I am in agreement that the top 1% do not need to be made richer...but don't penalyze the top 20-25% for achievement and hard work.  It doesn't make sense and we are not a socialist based country by constitution.

I say she deserves what she has because of her success.  However, if she wants all sucessful people to transfer their wealth and give to the poor, then it should start with them.

I also completely disagree with her on education.  In the last 15-20yrs of pouring more $ into failing public schools, we have not improved the quality of schools, education or graduation rate in many inner city schools.  The problem lies much deeper than just funding.  Taking more 'piece of pie' means throwing more public $ at broken schools without addressing the deeper issues of ususually strong teachers unions, tenures, poor parental involvement, safety from really dangerous kids and drug dealers that are not moved out of schools, a general apathy about education in certain areas, and poor community supports & role models.

Bush has poured so much money into a failed program. He tried to do the right thing. Its time to look strongly at vouchers, breaking the strength of the teachers union and actually educating our kids on the basics. All the bs courses they allow them to take are ridiculous. Reading/writing/math/history..organized sports and move the fuck out.

Yeah, n while he's havin' teachers teach the 3 r's maybe Prez Obama, and the First Lady can have the teacher's teach our children how to break commitments just like he did yesterday with his Campaign Public Funding lie, errrrr "opt out". As time goes on you will see that he is no better than Bush, or McCain for that matter. He is slowly revealing himself to be the same ol' "typical" politician that we have grown to loathe....

that was a major flipflop on obama's part.

he's calculating he can bury mccain by dumping tons of money into 10 or 15 republican states, making mccain spend $ there too.  Which leave FL, PENN, OH open for obama to get in.

if obama can steal 2 small repub states, mccain can win all 3 of the big 3 Swing states, and still lose.  Or if he can get 1 small state and 1 swing, he'll be good.

I can't see how Obama loses now.  He has so much $.

If Bush said he was going to put a gun range in the white house, public outrage for that same exact sentiment.
