nice improvements lori, your stomach and back have leaned up significantly. And dont worry about "holding water" your 50 days out for christ sakes! You look right on track. Also looks like your legs have gained PLENTY of size, should look very nice shredded up!

Well thanks, all you guys!   :-*

TU, it's great to hear from you, I hope you are having a good summer!   :)

I'm feeling pretty good about things, today anyway.  I ALWAYS have issues with water retention, right down to the last couple of weeks, so some days I am puffy, bloaty, and smooth, and others I am not.
I also tend to lean out from the top down, starting with my arms and shoulders and ending last with my legs.  Looks like the leanness is making it's way down my mid-section, so the legs and ass will be next.

Training is ON this week, all week.  And I am thrilled to have an appointment to see my chiropractor tomorrow and get my back fixed.  This one may take more than one visit!   :-\

:)

Looking great.
Good basic structure and nice curvy hams and glutes.
Chest is also swole in the side shot.

Thanks bruce!  The heavy benching during my off-season thickened me up, I think.  :)

Rip, you are looking great :D

In regard to the soy sauce (that I know you're not using now) ...maybe you could use balsamic vinegar?

Thanks Stella!!   :-*

Yes, that's the direction I am headed in.  I have not totally eliminated salt, but I have increased my intake of both balsamic vinegar and malt vinegar.  Malt vinegar and lemon juice on white fish is pretty tasty, actually.

When dieting I would eat chicken breast and sweet potato both sprinkled w/balsamic vinegar.  It's so good that I still have it occasionally

That does sound pretty good.  I haven't had any sweet potatoes in my diet at all this time around, but at this point, the balsamic would probably taste good on anything.  I'm going to try marinating my chicken in it next time I cook a big batch, so I'll let you know.

Thank goodness for vinegar, lemon juice, Ms. Dash, and mustard!   :D

I have been thinking about the way the NAs could go for the girls and im thinking if it works out to be a Ripitupbaby vs Mel D. posedown for the overall it will be one of the most exciting finals of all time.

Im kinda hoping it goes that way  :)

Thank you guys... ramapo, thanks for putting your first post in my thread.  ;)

I'm doing alright.  :)
Had a very busy weekend.  I did a good workout Friday night, and then we worked a BB show all day yesterday and went to a birthday party last night.  We went racing all day today.

I took a couple of totally spur of the moment pics at the race track today, right after I came back from a 20 minute run.  It was really HOT, and I was a mess.   :P

My midsection has tightened up quite a bit, my abs are just about in, and my legs aren't as watery as they were last week...although it's still hard to flex them because they are always so beaten on.  I swear, they are harder than they appear in the pics!  Still having problems with my lat spread too.

I'm actually pretty happy with where I am for seven weeks out.  I'm finally starting to feel on track.  :)

Holy chit man BIG difference already!  :D

I would love to go against Mel in a posedown at the NA's.  I know she's working hard, and I am excited to do the same show as her!
I'm definitely hoping we see something like that too.  ;)

OK, I cleaned up this thread a little, although I never mind a healthy debate.  ;)

As flex and I have discussed in the past, there is a difference between a "schmoe" and an "appreciator."  The term schmoe gets used much too loosely around here, and I disagree that any male fans of FBBs are schmoes.  I think you guys are both appreciators, and I appreciate your appreciation.   ;D

ummm not to burst the balsamic vinegar bubble but you may want to check the sugar in it.  I know that mine has 4 grams of sugar per serving and that is lower then some of them that I saw at the store. Maybe you have a sugar free one but not sure I have ever seen that...
