glutamine is shit first off, and secondly i like intra workout shakes insted of post workout for the most part
Ok, maybe glutamine is shit as far as direct results for building muscle. But for overall health, if it helps your immune system, it could be benificial, by the less you are sick, the less workouts you may miss overtime. And it may help when dieting strictly, in sparing muscle lost. I don't know.
But, my question is can it actually be detrimental to muscle building? Can it really block the absorbtion of creatine? I take a spoonfull of creatine about 30 min before workout, and another spoonfull in my post-workout shake. I stopped taking glutamine, cause I heard it battles with creatine for absorbtion.
So, if I was to still take glutamine, would 5gms in the morning and 5 at night be ok, while still taking creatine around my workout?
I usually take creatine 2 months on, 1 month off. So, I could just take glutamine around my workouts when I am off creatine.
