I know that people consider me odd on here because of my somewhat unusual pastimes... I get that a lot in my everyday life.
I'm not offended... because it comes from ignorance.
It's exactly this dismissive attitude that has hampered proper scientific investigation of this (and other) subjects... hence leaving it up to interested amateurs such as myself.
Ask yourself these questions Bluto:
-are you aware that a giant (6' to 7' tall, 300 lb) silver gray chimpanzee subspecies was discovered living in Congo in 2003? (Scientists are currently arguing over whether the "Bili Ape" or "Bondo Mystery Ape" represents a new species or possible gorilla-chimp hybrid... but with footprints, video, hair, scat, skulls and DNA its existence is beyond question... Sasquatch currently has footprints, video, hair, scat, a couple of fossilised skulls and some very partial DNA results)
-are you aware that a newly extinct (possibly as recent as 1850 AD) hominid species was identified from partially fossilized remains in 2003? (Google: "Hobbit Man" / "Flores Man" or "Homo Floresiensis")
-are you aware that yet another newly extinct (possibly as recent as 1000 AD) human subspecies was identified from remains recovered from Palau Island in 2005? (Google: "Palau Tribe")
...I'm not a crackpot, I'm just interested in the possibility of extant sub-human species.
As a both a troll and chronic attention whore, shouldn't you welcome that?
