I was exaggerating to make a point, but you get the point, right? European workers on average are like 80% as productive per worker as their American counterparts because they don't place the emphasis and importance on work that we do.
There is a big difference between e.g. Greek and German/Nordic work ethic. In a lot of european countries the productivity is actually higher than in US. I'm sure that in the US there will be big regional differences as well.
That's because in socialist countries, everyone achieves the same, no matter how hard they work.
Lol. You guys seem to think that the communist parties rule Europe. Western/Northern Europe is not that different than USA. The taxes are generally higher for the higher incomes compared to the lower incomes. So i guess that's a "socialist" aspect. Some say this money is spent on the welfare system, education, etc... to help the less fortunate.
For the average man i think the european system is better imo. But personally i lean more to the american brute capitalism, because it would financially be a lot better for me
