Mostly fish I import from seattle
finest cuts of meat and chicken.
Organic Vegetables and fruits, berries.
I go out to dinner only 1x a week.
2x at the most.

I would eat off of about $40.00
a week.  $60.00 at most.

Good point. If your a lifter food is functional IMO, to enjoy the food or concern yourself w/ quality to this level is a moot point. Getting the best in this case is wasting money.

If you eat good foods, not junk, you can easily get by on $100 a week.

A perfect example is Oatmeal, 10 cents per meal (1 cup), throw in some tuna and other low cost fish and you should not be spending $500 per month.

I agree - one person can eat a large quantity of very high quality food for $100 a week - not including meals out.

If Bush bombs Iran and those bitches shut down oil coming out of the persian gulf, your grocery bill might get that high.   40% of the world's oil cuts through there, and Iran has vowed to mine the shit out of that water.  US military announces they think they can stop this.  Time will tell, I spose.  At the very least, bombing iran stops their exports and we see a spike in oil prices (which in turn affects what it costs to produce and deliver foods).

If oil is $170 or $200 a barrel, a $500 food trip isn't impossible.
