This is my training video celebrating America's birth on the 4th of July!

I hope you enjoy the video and God Bless the USA!

Also the song (I am the NRA) you hear in the background is a new song by Ted Nugent and can be downloaded at his website ... TedNugent. com

i swear i'm going to make a video that starts off with me praising the evil forces of darkness for five minutes, then i'll do a 5x5 with 315 and say i did 315x25.

that looks like 2 sets of 12 not 24 reps and who knows what weight that is from the looks of those plates and you sound like a complete douchebag with the "speech" at the beginning, you're everything that is wrong with this country.

that was'nt two sets of 12 !

that was just a really long pause between reps 12 and 13 !

don't know about the fake plate insinuation made above, but 315x12 is pretty impressive for some gun toting redneck.

I believe the weights are real without any doubt. It's just a pity the video was ruined by the ranting and the inability to count.

Go for it, but all i did was name 3 founding documents, quote the Declaration of Independence, the second amendment, and our National Motto while listening
to Ted Nugents song I AM THE NRA!
Just being an proud American who believes in FREEDOM!

As for 24 reps in the title is semantics. Because it said 24 reps, from your post, it seems that you assumed it was consecutive.
I did not say either, so it is the debate rhetorical semantics!

I named the founding documents, quoted the Declaration of Independence, stated the 2nd amemndment, and again quoted the National Motto.
Those are the documents our republic lives and operates by.
Almost all the words in that "speech" were written or penned by someone who helped establish the United States of America.

Just something to think about.

But if believeing in FREEDOM (why I am member of the NRA) makes someone a redneck then the list is along as the USA's history!

The weights are very real(I have weighed them all), just a collection I have accumulated over the last 15 years.
I hope all is well with you in Great Britain!

Using this logic, I've benched 315 for about 500.

give me a week and i'll put up a video of me benching 315 for 200 reps. oh sure they'll be in different sets on different days, but that counts, right?? ::)

and yes, bench pressing is a GREAT way to celebrate the 4th of july. nothing says "i'm reflecting on what it means to be an american" like reciting formative documents of the nation and then lifting weights.

i really didn't think you could top looking like an asshole by lifting while praising Jeebus, but you've done it.

2 sets of 315 for 12 is pretty healthy....

I have no problem with the guy having some fun and posting 24 reps in the title..

You know, I DID spend part of my 4th of July shooting---my brother and I took his rifles to the local firing range.  It really didn't have anything to do with it being the 4th of July or anything like that, it was because I was home visiting for the first time in a year.  We shot several 3 shot rounds with his 25-06 and the old 30-30 trying out a new scope.  We also shot about 100 rounds shooting various dots at 50-75 yards (and golf balls at 50-75 yards) with his .22 and its new scope.  I think squirrels will be in danger at any reasonable range this fall with that gun.

The thing is after seeing a couple of the nut-jobs out there, I almost walked away thinking gun control would be a good thing.  I watched a guy take a golf ball, toss it out onto the ground in front of himself about 10 feet, and then empty a 32 round magazine from a 9 mm pistol as fast as he could pull the trigger and not hit the golf ball one freaking time.  it didnt' even move.  they were throwing casings all over the place with some AK rifle.  My brother got hit in the back of the head with hot brass because they weren't watching where casings were flying.   It just amazes me.

They are suppose to be entertaining.
Watching someone lift weigts without any personality is rather dull in my opinion.
