Just got back from watching it.

Excellent movie.  Yes, it does drag through the middle and towards the end.  I liked the ending a lot actually but I do think the plot could have been written better.  I did like it better than I Am Legend but I'm also a big Will Smith fan.  I should also add that I don't usually laugh out loud during movies but this one had me going.  This one along with Get Smart and Iron Man are the best ones this year IMO.

You want an uber-cheesy actor (irrespective of colour) to fill a leading role in a blockbuster, call will smith.

You want an actor call the likes of Ed Norton or Don Cheadle.

You have to appreciate Will Smiths world appeal though.  He's one of the few actors who can still crop up a 100+ million first weekend movie based on name recognition alone. 

Tom Cruise could pull the same shit off before he went all crazy. 

Anyways Dark Knight is going to smash Spidermans $151,116,516 million weekend totals this week.  They have freaking 6am (yes i said AM) shows sold out here.

The second one was like a joke on anyone who sat through it.  Totally worthless.  I think it was produced to make fun of everyone who missed the point of the first one.

Edit: I don't see Verhoven's name on that poster.  Think I'll pass.
