There will be changes to the above list.  I know that Kira is not competing at this show.  Also, some of the listed weight classes will change.

Tracy (Islandgirl) and Dora are both figure crossovers in the LW BB class.  Barbara Fletcher is going to be very tough to beat in the lightweights if she comes in conditioned.  Claire is listed as a MW, but I guess it will depend on how things go for her at Masters the week prior.

My early prediction - Kris Murell and Christine Sabo will give her a run for her money, but Isabelle will win the HWs and take the whole show for her Pro Card.   8)

Cant figure out why Barbara Fletcher is doing the show again, she won the lightweight class in 05. Shes listed as a lightweight again. The promotor doesnt usually let you compete in the same class, once you won already.

I was surprised to see Barbara in this show because she's just been doing Nats for the last couple of years.  She won the LWs in 05, but she didn't win the overall, and the overall winner gets the Pro Card.  I didn't realize that the promotor would actually stop you from doing the show again if you've already won...that seems a little strange to me.

I think Barb's got the best shot at winning the class this year if she comes in more conditioned than she was at Nationals.  I did see a couple of pics of Tracey (Islandgirl) who has switched from figure to BB, and she is PEELED...like Claire-peeled.  Tracey may be lacking in mass a little, but her conditioning is going to be tough to beat.

I know barbara fairly well. She lives here in Southern California and i have seen her compete at the local shows down here in the past. She is one of the shortest girls in the entire NPC I  believe.

She was the shortest and lightest to ever win at the USA that was a stat i read from the NPC Magazine after she won at the USA.

She has a cute physique. Not hard for my standards, but hard enough to win, obviously.

She did compete at the Nationals last year and was probably the front runner in the lightweight class because the year prior she had placed 2nd at the nationals and has the win at the USA, she ended up placing6th. It was a tough show placings wise for all of us.

At a show of this caliber( the USA) a lightweight is not likely to win the overall, thats why it surprises me shes doing the show again. She should stick to the nationals, shes a proven contender.

NO, she shouldn't.  She should win the overall and her Pro Card at the USAs so that I don't have to compete against her at Nationals.   ;D

What a great show this is going to be!!

OK, so Mary Hobbs is OUT.  I am not sure what other changes to the competitor list there may be.

My preliminary predictions include:

LWs - Barbara
MWs - this is going to be one hell of a class!!!  Diana Tinelle is a front runner for sure.  She will have tough competition from Claire, and I saw Beth Watcher from last week's Masters, and all I can say is WOW.   :o
LHW - Karen Choat should have it if she comes in looking like she did at the Masters.  The Hollys will give her a run.
HW - Isabelle and Kris Murell top 2

:)

Mary emailed me last week and said she was out, and that she had JUST made the decision that day.  Can't remember when it was, but it was maybe last Friday?

ISABELLE - CLEAR winner and new pro
CLAIRE - looking awesome, as good or better than last week
BARBARA - looking a bit soft

Looking at the top 4, the light weight is showing a really nice shape and proportions. Looks like she was harder at the night show than the prejudge.

Very cute too!!
