Nasser does not speak 7 languages, and graduating from college, on it's own, does not make you intelligent.

Nasser had no social intelligence at all, and that becomes more and more clear as he fades from being relevant in BBing to- only coming out to attack people.

As you seem to know him well then how many languages does he speak?  I do not think college is a sign of intelligence, particularly social intelligence. I had based my assumption on spending time with him, what are you basing your comments on Johnny?

I worked out in the same gym as Nasser-he was not well liked-at all.

It was his ego-he thought he was the shit-and he wasn't. In the off season he was a big blob at 290-300#, while Jim Quinn walked around the same gym at 290# in contest shape (year round).

You try to talk to Nasser and he would have an attitutde. Try to ask about some of the other pro's that trained at another gym he was at (Gold's OPB) and he would start bad mouthing them.


He was not a fun guy to be around, got to the point I would not even talk to him-not worth the brain damage.

Good answer Johnny. I know that Nasser did not like many of the other pros and they did not like him. He was always bad mouthing the other pros and in small doses it could be very funny. In large doses it could indeed be brain damaging.

You are also right about Jim Quinn, he was a freaky fuck every time I saw him. I remember seeing him in NYC at a gym opening with Sonny. He was deadlifting 7 plates off season in a tank top around '91. Just incredible.

If i was on Nassers dose of test weekly i probably wouldnt want to be to social either just want to eat fuck and train, which is basically what he did back in the day, not a bad guy, just doesnt suffer fools, have to admit some of the shit hes said the last 12 months has been a bit uncalled for, but the guy was a lot smarter than a lot of other pro bodybuilders ive met over the years, at least he had some other interests in life other than just how he looked which is what most are limited to.

Alot of people wanted to be friendly with Nass, but he always felt everyone wanted something.  He's a big guy on the outside, but afraid of everyone around him.  It's one of the reason why he talks alot of shit about others.

It doesn't take a lot of effort and has no practical value outside a university. As long as you can read and can construct a decent paper its a piece of cake. There are millions of people who have MA in those subjects that are waiting tables everywhere hoping for their big break.

Ronnie COMPETED at ~300lbs and have off season shots with abs at 320 since 98, Vic lies about being 360 and was probably pushing the 280s at his most bloated condition HUGE HUGGGGGE difference.

Just look at Dennis James, even 2 weeks out he is still gigantic and ripped but comes in flat as a pancake, thats what makes the difference, being a hobby bodybuilder or a professional.

Don't get me wrong, there is NO DENYING that Vic was and still is HUGE, but he is still mostly hype, especially considering his back SUCKS and thats probably one of the reasons he never really wanted to compete because he knew he would get slaughtered when he turns around.

His only weak point was his back-that's it, dont tell me he could have never won a pro show when guys like Milos have won one with 17.5 inch arms.....and JOJ has done well with 14 inch calves.

I have worked out with tons of pros and top amatuers-and we are basically all doing the same thing, something  that we like-working out.

Nasser did not want to be a part of that social club. I worked out with BBer,'s partied with them, called them my friends-sort of like on here.

So take it how ever you want to-but when youre a part of this life style, training hardcore 6 days a week you tend to hang out and associate with these same people.

Remember, Nasser never won the O- the fact is in a 16 year pro career Nasser only won 6 shows-I could care less about the guy. Most people in my gym felt the same way.

JohnnyVegas - just wondering, how do you think Vic would have looked on the regime of today's pros? Back in his time, it must have been a lot more simple - lots of dbol and test, big meals and training hard. If he could have access to the same things Ronnie has, he would surely be amazing with his genetics. Also, how strong was Vic, can you recall?

Actually you do not know what you are taliking about, he is lean yes, 7 % is lean, but bodybuilders today are striated everywhere and this comes out at 3-5 % and striated glutes come out at 2. No need for name calling I have nothing against you but if you think he is under 5 its probably because you've never been shredded before, understandable.
