However, if some crazed, homicidal loon pulled out a huge hunting knife and started cutting some fucker's head off, I'd fucking leg it. I would be like Ben Johnson sprinting down that aisle.

Probelem is we are not gun carrying lunatics like you yanks, most people don't even have knife here, and trust me its better this way.

yeah, but suppose he started cutting up kids or women up front.  Suppose it's some 110 pound prick you could eaily manhandle, and he ices 10 people because you didn't act.  

IMO that'd be some guilt to live with forever.  "Why didn't I help them", you know?  Better to incur a little risk. I'm not saying you should tackle Rambo unarmed, but looking for a bottle to at least wing at him ain't such a bad idea.

On an ultra-serious note...I would do something but only after briefly regrouping and making sure one or two other would help. Knowing my luck...I'll hit Krueger boy on the back of the head and he'll turn around looking angry..

unarmed, I would grab the five nearest males, hand them all pens or pencils (we getbigger have them!) and tell them each a bodypart to aim for.  In about 15 seconds, that dude would have #2 graphite sticking out his neck, back, heart, and kidney slots.
