If I was an Obama supporter I would be worried about his inability to win the big states. In the primaries Hilariy won all the big states. How is that going to translate into the national election? Also I dont take a lot of stock in polls particularly in this race and most people are afraid of looking racist
I dont think McCain is a strong canidate and it wouldnt suprise me if Obama won, but again you have to carry at least some of the big states to get into the oval office.
Big states?
http://pollster.com/Obama leads mccain in Penn 50 to 41%
Obama leads mccain in OH 46 to 43%
McCain leads Obama by .6 in Indiana, and Obama may select an Indiana Senator tomorrow for VP.
McCain leads Obama by .8 in FL, and has lost 5 points here in 2 months... not a good trend.
Obama leads Bush state New Mex by 6 points.
Obama in colorado by 1.6 points
Hell Obama leads in
Virginia by almost 3 points. NO WAY he should win Virginia.
Bottom line is that Mccain has to reverse the polls in 8 states to win it. And he has to do this with 1/3 the money Obama has, in a receding economy where his position is "The economy is great". It's going to be a tough task. Only a fool would bet the rent $ on Mccain at this point in time.
