This is how I look at it. I've been training since I was 12 with NO injuries that kept me from training until I turned 40. I always use the anology it's like buying a car with a 75,000 mile extended warranty........at 75,001 the car takes a shit and repairs are more frequent. Since I turned 40, I've tore my chest 2 times (1 time when getting ready for the masters nationals), meniscus surgery about a year or so after that. Didn't train for a show from the time of my pec tear till last Dec. After that show, another torn meniscus and torn labrum right shoulder.
lesson learned, when your older and on gear, no matter the dosage and come off the injuries are much easier to come by and waaay more frequent. All of injuries have come from a result of either training too heavy when on gear and THINKING you're 25 again or with the month or two after you stop.
