Nobody is going to get nuked, but this is going to turn into a whole shitstorm I'm afraid. And Moosey, this isn't about conservatives or liberals. It's about governments manipulating their people and convincing them that war is somehow necessary. And we don't need to continue helping people. Instead of leading by example and improving our education system and living standards within our own borders, we are sending our military all over the world. The standard of living over here is going down the shitter. The people in the top 5-10% are still doing just fine, but the lower socio-economic levels are getting buried.
This has happened throughout history.
And will always continue.
Leading by example?
Taking an inactive stance on the world stage?
As long as others do not play like the rules, i.e., the standard of 'leading by example', as it is portrayed, we must do what we must to maintain our place in the world.
