I tired eating good for the weekend. They had a great menu at the hotel, clean, no salt, butter, excellent for the competitors.  And  I did great Friday, for breakfast, lunch and dinner until late evening, when Bob Chick, Dan Solomon, and others decided to get some dessert. I couldn't help it. The Chocolate Lava cake was just too good. I blame Bob!

As for the bodybuilding.com Tiger Woods polo shirt, it looked good, and I take pics for them too (you will see my pics from this weekend there).  But I also wore  an American Bodybuilding shirt, a Muscletech shirt, and a BSN shirt too.  I guess I should get some Getbig shirts done...
 
As for 240, hell, I respect the people who actualyl come to support an expo and contest, unless the ones who complain all of the time. Rob drove the two hours to come down, meet people, and actually introduce himself, whereas others hide. 

I never understand why some of you think you need to be a bodybuilder to be a fan or come to an expo or show? Strange. Never see that in baseball, football, basketball or any other sport.

Why would you attend a show, game or anything related to a sport/passion of yours, that you do NOT like?
You don't necessarily need to look like a BBer, but it helps- especially with the guys here!
When was the last time you saw an entire stadium filled with people that didn't like baseball...nobody cheered and they were all wishing they were at a tennis match?

On a serious note, you sound like an ideal candidate for a variant of Intermittent fasting. Instead of slavishly eating tiny portions of the kind of shit farmyard animals eat all day...you fast for 16-18 hours of the day and then have an eating window where you can pretty much eat as you like (although, strictly speaking, some adherence to healthy eating is desirable).

 You're a big guy and you like to eat. This way you can look forward to a nice big meal -it makes the hunger fine as you know you got some good shit coming.

Obviously, some are dead against it, but it's not actually that dissimilar to how many hunter-gatherers eat and it gives your digestive apparatus a break.

Dead on True Grit. We try to fight the normal urges of eating everything in sight at times, but that's how we managed to stay alive thousands of years ago. I know the ultimate diet technique is many small meals spaced throughout the day, but I am convinced we are not programmed to eat like that.

I had to go on an intermittent fast some years ago due to travel considerations. When I got back from the trip, I was shocked at how lean I got in such a short time.

Typically I look a tad younger.  By then my hair was messed, my eyes were red, I was ready for sleep.

nah, i hit the gym on the way to tampa and showered there... put in gel while my hair was wet after shampooing, then rode in AC in car for 3 hours, and it all just fell together in clumps.  So it split up there.  I didn't have blow dryer, didn't have gel (it was in trunk with gym clothes) so I just had to deal with the bad hair day, hence the shine up top.
