The most admirable rich people are those who have common material items.  Then they can use the $ in better ways.

it must suck not to be able to have a porsche or beamer, but still have to wear a suit and tie to work in a mid 90's Ford explorer. Geez. Are u kidding me how depressing is ur life

Absolutely. I like to cruise to work in my Saleen S7 with my massive arm hanging out the window. I flex it at stoplights to the excitement of all the ladies
The answer is "yes".

He will have to be, especially if he gets divorced.

He was interviewd once. The girl asked, "Why are you driving a 20K Altima?"

He said:

"I was sitting at lite in my Altima. Jay-Z pulled up to me at the lite in his 310K Bently.

"You wanna know the difference btw me and Jay-Z?" he asked the reporter rhetorically.

"290 thousand dollars!"

Exactly.

Buffett isn't all that nice. His grand daughter did an interview in "The One Percent," a documentary created by Jamie Johnson, the heir to Johnson & Johnson about the growing wealth gap in America and how the top one percent controls 40%+ of the nation's wealth.

After Buffett's grand daughter interviewed in it, he disowned her from the family. Wrote her a letter saying she wasn't his grand daughter anymore and that she wasn't part of the family. She even showed the letter on film and there was an article about it in the NY Times.

I don't know why someone that lives so modestly would have a problem with their grand daughter talking about how she believes the ultra-rich have too much money.
