In France they recognize crimes of passion and dish out lesser sentences. I think we need to create a law that incorporates the special criteria for the crimes of bodybuilders. This will be more understanding of their increased aggression due to their high test levels and it will try to safeguard their muscle mass whilst incarcerated - hourly protein shakes for example. We don't want another Bertil situation where the guy would look ridiculous in a thong.

Their troubles are far from over. They will also face a civil suit now that they've plead guilty and have been sentenced.

I think there is already one pending out there, the problem is that I dont think there are any assets left after paying the lawyers, expenses, etc.

The 'victim' got off lightly after what she did to Craig. He has lost ALL his musclemass thanks to her.

He lost all his musclemass because he was an uncontrollable steroid & recreational drug junkie who took a life and is now paying for it.  He had the world at his feet and always had to push the limit because he thought he was untouchable.  Now he sits in a 6 x 6 room shrunken to a size probably smaller than the majority of the other inmates.  He will not be eligible for parole for a long long time and will most likely not see the outside of that prison until he is over 65 years of age.

Kelly, even if released in 6 years, will never obtain such status as she had prior to this murder no matter what she claims happened.  She will always be looked at as an accomplice to murder...if not a murderer herself. 

It's really sad that so many lives (the families of both the victim and the accused) have been effected in such a way that they will never truly recover.

On a serious note: I am not sure with US law - it's a fucking minefield; state, federal etc.. - but I'm assuming that the 6-26 sentence years means, in theory, she could be sentenced to 6 and paroled after 3. Taking into account time served, she could be released any time.

The key thing here is how soon can she apply for parole. Does she have to actually do the 6 years or can she apply for parole after 3?

Without really understanding the sentencing it would appear that she should do a minimum of 6 and she can be denied parole for up to 26 years , when they have to let her out.

The same deal with Titus. The tricky bit is that sometimes they can actually apply for parole earlier than the 6 or 21 years. Depends if it's been stipulated that they must serve a minimum term. If not, I think they can actually start asking for parole after 3 years and 10.5 years respectively.

What's important here is that the sentencing is now the end of the matter and that Ron is going to get rid of the Titus Board and replace it with an Arnold Board.

Then Maura James came up, and begged the judge for the maximum sentence, and asked for a gag order on Craig and Kelly. The judge decided not to impose a gag order, then procedeed to lecture Craig and Kelly, and then he threw the book at them, and gave them whatever he could.
