The "6 to 26" on Ryan is interesting.  I thought the deal they made was Titus cops to everything and she gets off light?  With the wide sentencing range, if the parole board is so inclined, they could keep her for the full 26, correct?

This is correct, tghey COULD keep her for 26 and Ct for 55.

BUT, isn state prisons it is usually half tme and parole. That means KR could get parole in a few months, CT a few years.

On a murder beef these two may serve longer than 50% of the short end, maybe 50% of the middle of the sentencing range.

Kelly’s sentence of 6 to 26 years means that in 6 years, she will be eligible for parole, although she has served close to 3 years, with a maximum of 26 years she can spend in jail.  Craig’’s sentence of 21 to 51 years means that in 21 years, he will be eligible for parole in 21 years, less time served already.

I just read the same. Minimum must be served before eligible for parole.

Right, the 6 year minimum is not counting parole.

KR could  be released after 3 years and spend another 3-10 years on parole = 3 years total in the joint though. Or if she is a fuck up in the joint she could spend the ENTIRE 26 years there.

Exasctly-they both can APPLY for parole after about half their sentence is up.

But applying and receiving are two different things. I have no idea if they will let someone out on the minimum end of the guidelines for a murder rap-even if she did not admit to murder in her plea.

Maybe they will maybe they won't-it is a wait and see what they do question. She might end up doing 4,5,6 years or more before parole.

We are just going to have to wait and see.

I so think it is safe to say that KR got a pretty light sentence for being involved with a very gruesome killing. I do not think she would get away that light in CA.

Same as anywhere else. If it's 6-26 you're eligible for parole at 6 but not promised anything other than you may get paroled at 6 or you may get to ride the whole 26 out or even perhaps get sprung somewhere in between. It's a minimum and a maximum
