Epic GetWhite thread.  I worked with a heavy set white guy yrs back who played rub equal to Euro Pro football.  You know those other teams over there.  He and his bud played on the homefront in Ireland.  They would have been cut the first day in an NFL camp.  Big guys but soft as the shi#.

Again...they wouldnt make the cut.  Maybe some could be back up OL.  No equipment hits are like playing sandlot ball. If they could hang...they'd run to the NFL for the money...just like other foreign athletes go to baseball and basketball.

i say the smart guys who think that the nfl is "easy" put on some pads and go "10 seconds at a time" for a quarter.

i ran a 6:30 mile (ha ha, i know, that's nothing compared to all you sprinters here) as a linebacker in hs, and i was still slow.

it's just comparing apples to oranges .

If there was more money...stars from the NFL would make the move for the paper...just like some jump over to Europe for basketball, and those arent even the top guys.  Again...they could make the rosters as backup linemen. Why dont they try out?  Most of these guys are similar to Tony Mandarich(?) with equipment playing at NFL speed.

the kid is definitely a beast, we'll see how he does in Ann Arbor, i don't think it will be enough with OSU, Wisconsin and Illinois in that conference.
