Tattoos and Bodybuilding just don't mix !!
« on: August 22, 2008, 10:59:12 PM »
They look grotty and dirty.

The tattoos tarnish the physique.

The tattooed physique enjoys such an unfortunate strereotype; that of the criminal, the outcast, the tryhard etc. etc.

Bodybuilding already has an 'appalling rating' within the mainstream community.

When you add tattoos to the mix, well, it just becomes even seedier and more revolting!

Face and neck tattoos!  Hahhahahaha.  Just screams of insecurity and inferiority.

Why the need to 'brand' yourself?  Why the desire to grafitti the body?  Why the longing to intimidate and create a false aura?

The point is, 'be happy in the skin your in'.  Don't look for acceptance and acknowledgement through ink!

You wouldn't know the first thing about tattoos, you pretend you do but you haven't a clue.

Hope this helps

'Notice me, notice me' cried the inked up tryhard!

'Look at me, look at me'.

For Christ sake, how unoriginal.

How pathetic these tattooed losers are!

How desperate for attention!

How starved to stand-out from the pack.

So, the logical progression is;  go and grafitti your body.

Here's an original concept; 'express your individualism and go get a tatt'.

Follow the pack. Tap into the fad.  Embrace the gimmick.  Bow down to the blatent commercialism and go and get inked-up!

Yes, get something unique on your skin.  Maybe some tribal work.  How about some obscure symbol.  What about a hard core phrase like 'such is life'. Hey, the gangsta shit is da shit.  Or just go the Chinese symbols across the forearm.  I think the lower back thing is highly fashionable.

Get out there bitches and express your uniqueness and originality.

And if any one asks 'why did ya get a tatt?'...Tell em that you wanted to do something different!

I think I'm the only guy at my gym that doesn't have one. It seems to be mandatory now if you lift weights to sport some tat on your arms or delts. Lots of "individuals" expressing their Uniqueness.I guess I better get one or I won't fit in with the Herd...I won't be a follower..How tragic!

Why such bias against tattoos-if you dont like them then dont get one-but dont bash people with ink-but I do agree with the neck , hands etc being way too much-I have tatoos that mean important things to me-and I would choose a tattoo needle over a juiced syringe any day

Hey I do agree that they do throw off some aesthetics and lines of a physique but my dream of being Mr Universe died with the direction this once wonderful sport went down the tubes with drugs

Maybe your children and all of your HS school students should get tattoos, it would go a long way in helping them become 'good human beings', grasshopper

Hey look I understand many of these opinions-tribal band is horrible -lmao-happy I didnt get one-why is it that many pics of BBers have them?  I agree that some tattoos on people are plain ugly-its a differnt mindset to have them-I have no problem that some people hate them-but I really dont care-I have a shaved head too-because of hair loss-Ive always gotten more looks because of that-but now many people do-fakers!
