Everyone was catching up trying to play Yates' old game (size) while Yates was playing his new game (size + condition)

too bad Ronnie was playing a newer game, of size + condition + shape: :-\

Ronnie's lats were NEVER nearly as good/wide from the front (i.e front lat spread)

Without Yates, Ronnie would have remained a 220pound Bber. Coleman might have pushed the envelope, Yates created the game.

Dorian was 230lbs as an amateur you idiot. Dorian was the godfather of muscle. Even at 239lbs in 1991, Dorian defeat a 250lbs Haney in muscularity. What does that tell you  ;)

i don't know why ronnie 98/99 is referred to as ronnie's best.  at that point in his career he was still at a level of size comparable to dorian.  however, in 2003 ronnie reached a form that far exceeded anything dorian could ever produce.  forget the pictures, just look at the videos.

his conditioning in 03 was garbage compared to 99, thats why

No, Dorian went from 242 lbs in 92' to 257 lbs in 93' and his conditioning was superior in 93'. He stepped onstage at the 93' Olympia with 25 lbs more muscle and 10 lbs less fat/water than he had at the 92' Olympia.

it doesn't matter. Lee Haney was still more muscular than Dorian.

Lee Haney carried more muscle than Dorian, you dipshit. The muscularity round doesn't always go to the guy who is the most muscular.

Ok, so let's anlyse the anthithesis of this statement and see if it makes sense: "The muscularity round goes to the guy who is the least muscular".

Yeah, that makes sense SemenHole. The queen of logic has spoken. :-\

You said that not always does the muscularity round go to the guy who is the most muscular. That is a contradiction in itself. This is like saying that not always the fattest guy is the fatest, or the tallest guy the tallest. Once again, you gave yourself a brutal self-ownage. Include yourself in the long list of people who've owned SemenHole. ;D :P

hahahahahah....are you really this stupid? LOL. No wonder you ended up teaching PE in a grade school haha

And I quote the TV announcers at the 91O [in reference to Yates] :"He's like Haney with BIGGER legs!"

You've just owned yourself LOL.

tsk tsk, you should educate yourself before running your mouth like an idiot. Even HypocriticDeity said all rounds are physique rounds. If the muscularity round always goes to the guy who is the most muscular, then it follows the symmetry round always goes to the guy who is the most symmetrical. I can cite several examples of bodybuilders winning the symmetry round who weren't the most symmetrical, which supports my original comment. The muscularity round doesn't always go to the guy who is the most muscular. ;)

nukka please, I have yet to be "owned" by anyone. You on the other hand... :-\

You are an idiot. The thread was never locked. NarcissisticDeity changed the title, that's all.

Ahem, you may want to publically apologize for calling that gentleman an idiot. The thread was locked and a couple threads were started about it being locked.

Who's the idiot now, fuckface?

When did I state that, moron? I have stated ad nauseum that Ronnie was much harder in 1998 than 1999.

right here, just scroll down to your post

I love how the nuthuggers try and hide the fact that dorian LOST the contest to Haney, because haney could match his back and size BUT had better aesthetics and symmetry.

just like peak Ronnie would.

haney beat yates for all the same reason that peak ronnie would.

the judges made it clear that size + symmetry will always win out on simply just size with ugly keg like aesthetics..
