Who is Leo?

This is His moniker among The People, brother.  He doesn't insist on formality amongst His warriors in The Cause.  And he hands out ice cream on Sundays.

We shouldn't call Moosejay a racist or bigot.  It was guys like him that made this country the great success it is today.  He should be a role model for us all.

Now as far as Obama being president.  He's not going to do as well as the polls indicate because there are a lot of white people (some who even support him) who when they get in the voting booth will not be able to vote for a black president.

Next president of the United States...John McCain.

Thanks for the props.

I am not a racist or a bigot.

Not even close.

I think the guys who spout off this pap just don't want to argue honestly.

I just am not, will not, and never, ever will be politically correct.

If you guys can't be honest with yourself and admit the PC is destroying (But, it will, ultimately, NOT be destroyed) this country, then let me introduce you to Santa.

answer to your original question is yes

and

yes

It's hard for the bigots here to deal with but don't worry Europe th U.S is gradually entering the 21st century  :D

Care to explain how we have outpaced the world in only 232 years of official existence?

I am asking honestly....it baffles me, too.

Its true, we must have taken the best people from all the other countries, and amalgamated them through procreation into the best and the brightest the world has to offer.

So, foreign countries, we do thank and salute you.

Because they want to know if there are going to be any more fu*k ups (iraq, sub prime etc) that effect global commodity prices and depending on who is voted in, it puts a realistic clock on when China and eastern countries become the super powers and America fades back to nothing more than a nuclear capable country with a decent economy a la UK, France, Russia etc. If it's McCain it'll be sooner than if it's Obama.

Based on all estimates, USA is still expected to be #1 superpower for another 60 years. By that time, I will be dead, so I don't care.

Catching up to the USA simply because a nation has nearly 8 times the population or because a group of nations make their own little gang, i.e. European Union, is not much of an accomplishment.

Oh. Back to the topic. McCain will win.

Obama can only do one thing well. Speeches. Nothing else.  I can see why Europe would be enamored with him. They also like to talk alot.

just remember....
whatever ticket gets elected....
The VP is one heartbeat away from running the most powerful nation on earth.

Palin
Biden

Who do you want dealing with foreign heads of state?
Answering that call when another attack on American soil occurs?
One heartbeat away.

Sandra

Hmmmm....I'll take a govenor who wants to win wars, instead of a senator who wants to "end wars responsibly" (a cushy euphemism for quitting).

Or, someone who has run a government (albeit on a much smaller scale) vs. someone who has not.

Besides, if Biden is so much more experienced and wise with regards to this issue, why isn't he on the TOP of the Democratic ticket?

All the news in UK is about Obama, I dont think anyone here even knows who Mccain is, without being bothered to read through, does it look like he will be the one in The Whitehouse?

Keep in mind, the news in the UK thought Kerry was going to win it back in 2004. Enough said.

How long before O's campaign starts up with the "If old McCain croaks, we will have an inexperienced mom of 5 running the show, blah blah....."

In a thinly veiled way in the least

Chaney was vastly more experienced in Washington than Bush, yet I'm sure your dumb ass voted for the Bush-Chaney ticket with Bush at the top of the ticket.  ;)

I'm not the one blubbering about how important experience is....and neither were the Democrats....UNTIL Palin entered the picture.

And, I'm sure you voted for the guy that Bush BEAT for the presidency. It's funny how these "brilliant" liberals keep putting up candidates that couldn't defeat "W".

And, despite the deck being stacked in his favor, Obama may choke away this chance for the Dems in 2008.

Yes, but your fellow repubes have been using that attack out of desperation for some time now. The fact that this woman has no foreign policy experience, and two years ago was a mayor of a tiny town in Alaska is something that needs to be mentioned if she is to be a heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world.

I did indeed. And I take pride in not voting for the moron that will go down in history as an absolute disaster with the worst approval ratings EVER. I realize many Americans are dumb and don't vote their own best interests, so sometimes my candidate will lose.

We'll know that after the election, buddy.  ;) He has his ethnicity to overcome, and many won't vote for him regardless of his superior intelligence and the failed policies of the last four years that McCain wants to continue. Neither you or I can predict the future.

Yet, you're using that "attack" now, since Palin just snatched your spotlight.

That someone has more executive experience than the guy HEADLINING your ticket. So, if experience doesn't matter (as the Dems, Bill Clinton in particular, claimed at the DNC), the Dems shouldn't be yakking about it now, espeically as it applies to the #2 of the GOP, NOT the #1.

A "moron" to whom your guys lost.....TWICE!!! What does that say about the Dems, if they can't find someone who can be this "moron"? And, what does it REALLY say about them, if Obama squandered this opportunity and loses this election.

And in a classic case of pot-calling-the-kettle-black, you might want to remember that the Democratic-controlled Congress has an approval rate of NINE (9) percent, three times LOWER than that of this "moron" President Bush. And that in less than two years.

Indeed, we will know. But, one think I can predict is the excuse you and the other liberals will produce (or reproduce), if Obama doesn't get the job done. Let's see:

2000 - "We wuz robbed"
2004 - We got "swiftboated"/It's them mean, dumb ol' Christians' fault
2008 - (If Obama loses) All of the above....and more

The spotlight would move away from the dems soon anyway, idiot. The RNC is about to start. The "attack" as you call it is FACT, so of course it will be presented.

If you think her year in one-half as governor of Alaska makes her a more a great vp choice, God bless you. The guy headlining the dems ticket has a Harvard Law degree, a seat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and 18+ million votes that show how many believe in his ability to be president. And apparently you still  fail to recognize that the VP has to be just as ready to be president as the presidential nominee. You're confident Palin could run this country if McCain became ill two days into office? 18 MILLION think Obama can, and that number is growing exponentially.  ;)

LOL!
You are apparently proud of the fact you voted for the idiot currently in office, when you should be hanging your head in shame. What it tells me is what I always knew...never underestimate the stupidity of the American public. This time around we have racism to add into the mix, something America has never learned to fully get past. If Obama loses it will be due to "not so bright" gentlemen such as yourself who would put McBush in Office for four more years of the same shit.

Primarily due to the inability to get us out of Iraq, which is the main reason for the electoral success of the dems in the '06 elections. That will change with a veto and filibuster-proof democrat majority. Something that is looking quite possible with many senate seats up for grabs in November. Your boy "Dubya" does not allow the senate to pass key legislation.

And if Obama wins you'll have no FACTUAL excuse at all...you will have just gotten your asses kicked by a charismatic senator who will be the first black president of the United States.  ;D

You should take a math course. Exactly how many registered voters do you think there are in this country?

Well only if USA has un-racified itself to accept a black man running the country. I dunno if he will be "accepted" in a predominantly white country settled by white folks.

If Obama is elected president I don't think it will be as much of a "step forward" as people might think.
Because he is only half black, very charismatic, and because of his age and personality appeals to a lot of young people.

I will be impressed when we nominate a completely black president who is older and not so charismatic.  Then and only then will I concede that America has come a long way in terms of racism.

Sarah Palin is hot...vote republican.
