You said they were
3/4 reps, not spots.
They were
not 3/4 reps, they were clean, or 99% clean.
Spotting on the final 2-3 reps is just that -spotting.
He had the bench almost straight up. That is a damn good
shoulder press.
If he had the bench at 35 degrees, a low incline, he could hit 135-150's.
