this is what i ate yesterday

Meal 1: 100g carbs & 40g protein & 11g fat = 691 kcal
160g Oatmeal (100g carbs 20g protein 11g fat = 576 kcal)
5 eggwhites                      (15g protein = 85 kcal)

WORKOUT

Meal 2: 40g carbs & 40g protein & 3g fat =362 kcal
45g dextro (40g carbs = 166 kcal)
50g whey   (40g protein 3g fat = 196 kcal)


Meal 3: 50g carbs & 45g protein & 4g fat = 450 kcal

6:30-Reese's puffs, beef, rice

8:30-Workout shake: malto, raisins, whey

10:00-Reese's puffs, eggs, rice

2:00 p.m.- Rice, Chicken, a whole bag of lettuce with butter spray on top, apple

6:00 p.m.- Oats with splenda, double chocolate cookie crisp, chicken, almond butter

10:30 p.m.- Melted Dark chocolate in microwave, mix with peanut butter and Walden Farms topping (scrumptious), chicken

As much as I would like to open more cans of whoop ass with an aging has-been "also ran" bodybuilding shmoe, I have spent the better part of the last 3 months under medical supervision and just don't have the energy right now.

Long story short, I recently came down with a blood disorder that is preventing metabolism of triglycerides.  My triglyceride levels were over 4300 and nearly stopped my bloodflow completely.  I am also diabetic and am taking lantus, humalog, and metformin.   

I did however find out that my LDL is at 47, which is extremely healthy, and my doctor said that my committment to regular exersize is probably what saved my ass because my blood vessels are larger than the average non-exersizing person.

Now I have new challenges to improve my condition and have to make major changes to my lifestyle to stay healthy.  I can no longer drink any alcohol, and have a very restrictive diet that I have to follow.  I am still #260, and once I am cleared for more strenuous cardiovascular exersize I will be dropping down to about 200 lbs.

Today so far I have eaten some fruit salad.
