i personally don't think mccain will die in office.  i mean, they said the same thing about dick cheney, with all his heart problems, and he lived. 

while i wasnt a life long republican like 240 (i'm a registered independent),  i actually was pulling for mccain over bush and gore in 2000.  mccain was the obama back then, talking about a new kind of politics, and i was a big fan of the straight talk express.  but now even karl rove said that mccain ad's are pretty low.    i actually would have voted for the old bastard if he had chosen mitt.  instead, he contradicted his own slogan "country first" by chosing palin.
